The Long View Calculating What You'll Need in Order to Retire

Author: Floyd Vest

Perhaps as a student you are now 16, 18, or 20 years of age. It may be that some day you will begin your earning years at perhaps age 22, 24, or 26. Also, you may retire at perhaps age 60, 65, or 70. Do we have a mathematical problem here? We think so. The problem is: How much money do you need to retire? How much money do you need to save to retire? How much do you need to earn in order to save? How much do you need to learn so you can earn?
